The action unfolds in an ostensibly peaceful Dutch house, where the fainting of 14-year-old Emil triggers a cascade of events. Waldemar arrives - a Pole, pigeon breeder, and romantic with a "Slavic soul" - and his presence disrupts the family's order.
Waldemar provokes conflicts, exposes the hypocrisy of the characters, and draws them into absurd negotiations where love, marriage, and animals become commodities. The performance is sustained in a tone of sharp humor, featuring witty dialogue and unexpected plot twists.
