The Housewife Is Only One
Kino Kijów, Krakow, Poland
"The Housewife Is Only One" is a farce by Marc Camoletti, translated into Polish by Bartosz Wierzbięty (translator of "Help!" and "Boeing Boeing"). The production is another chapter in the adventures of Nadia - a mad housemaid who this time takes on the role of... an actress.
The action takes place in a summer cottage of a film producer who accidentally invites his wife, mistress, and best friend for the same weekend. To save the situation, Nadia assumes the role of the mistress, while the real mistress gets a mop in her hands. The producer finds himself in a trap - though, as it turns out, he is not the only one hiding romantic secrets.
