SILENT FRIDAY. Silent Reading
A special edition of silent reading as part of the 14th International Big Book Festival - a gathering for everyone who wants to read in good company. It doesn't matter how old you are, what books you like, whether you read on paper or on an e-reader, whether you devour books quickly or savour them slowly.
For about an hour we read together in silence, then we talk a bit about what happens between the lines. The theme of this gathering is autumn comfort books - bring your own book or choose something on site.
Sit comfortably, take off your shoes, wrap yourself in a blanket - whatever feels right. The ticket price includes a drink and a pastry. Seating is limited (60 people).
Led by Anna Jeżowska and Maja Naruszewicz. The event takes place at Big Book Cafe, ul. J. Dąbrowskiego 81 (Warsaw, Mokotów), run by the "Kultura nie boli" Foundation.
