"The Lame Duck and the Blind Hen" is a story about the journey of the titular feathered pair - about loneliness and friendship that gives wings and opens eyes. The creators confront audiences with myths and stereotypes about friendship, drawing on the language of childhood fantasy.

The performance reveals the full spectrum of emotions between the Duck and the Hen - emotions familiar to children in their daily relationships with adults. Younger viewers will learn that everyone has difficult days and it is no one's fault. Adults, in turn, will see how deeply children experience the emotional states of those close to them.
