FINGERPRINTS. Sensory Theatre Tour with Live Audio Description.
Museum of the Old Theatre MICET in Krakow, Poland
Fingerprints are unique to each hand - and the theatre carries its own distinctive marks. Its traces lie hidden in history, architecture, and the memory of those who gave it meaning over the years. This sensory tour of the National Old Theatre follows precisely these traces.
The route takes you through spaces normally closed to the public: hidden corners of the theatre, costumes you can touch, and a specially composed soundscape. You experience the space through light, movement, and sensory tasks - each element weaves together a story about the theatre, its memory, and identity.
The event is part of the 4th Festival of Sensitive Culture, organised by the Małopolska Institute of Culture in Kraków. Concept and facilitation: Katarzyna Peplinska-Pietrzak, Łukasz Zaleski (MICET).
Practical information: the tour moves through various theatre spaces, including stairs - comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended. The theatre has no parking; the nearest tram stop is Teatr Bagatela. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start - joining the group after departure is not possible. Tickets must be purchased in advance; the box office does not sell tickets immediately before the event.
