Thematic Walk: A Walk in the Footsteps of Courageous Torun Women, from the Time of German Occupation and Beyond - Towards Bydgoszcz Suburb

This walk takes us to Bydgoszcz Suburb - the part of Torun favoured by the occupiers, where they established institutions of terror. Participants will see beautiful buildings, villas, townhouses and courtyards, and may also venture into cellars whose walls witnessed acts of heroism and death.

The walk reveals places we pass daily without realizing that here, Torun women performed deeds that put film heroes to shame. Along the way, we'll hear stories about films connected to these locations. The route ends in a park - where much also happened.
