Generalnie: dramat! Creative Writing Workshops.

GENERALNIE: DRAMAT! - round two is a cycle of creative writing workshops where participants collectively build a drama from linguistic habits, family sayings, internet abbreviations, regional expressions, and everyday misunderstandings. Language itself becomes the protagonist of the text.

The starting point for writing will be materials gathered during previous research conversations: stories about favourite words, linguistic mishaps, sayings passed down from grandparents, and expressions from social media. The workshops are conducted using a collective writing method - differences between participants are treated as material, not a problem. Throughout the cycle, professionals working in dramaturgy, theatre, and the art of storytelling will appear; programme details and the guest list will be revealed gradually.

From the developed material, a script will be created that will go into rehearsals and a final theatrical presentation.

You can sign up for individual sessions or participate in the entire cycle. Tickets for each workshop are available from one week before the date. Tickets cost 5 PLN per person, with limited capacity. The event is for participants aged 16 and above.

The project is realized by Teatr Nowy in Poznań, co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the "Polish Language. The Richness of Linguistic Diversity" programme of the Institute of Linguistic Diversity of the Polish Republic and by the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship Self-Government.
