Try Opera

"Try Opera" is a programme offered by Lublin Opera for students in grades 6-8 of primary school, secondary school students, and people with disabilities. Its aim is to introduce participants to the opera's repertoire and promote social integration through participation in rehearsals of musicals, operettas, and operas.

Young participants take part in rehearsals with the full symphony orchestra - specifically in one section of a selected production from the current repertoire. Rehearsals take place once a month on a chosen Thursday morning. Before each rehearsal, participants will hear a brief introduction: a summary of the plot and discussion of the main characters.

Lublin Opera's 2024/25 season also includes fairy tales and performances for younger audiences - featuring Thumbelina, Puss in Boots, the Dwarfs and Little Orphan Mary, Pinocchio, and Snow White.
