Empik and Iskra Publishing invite you to a premiere meeting with Weronika Ancerowicz, author of "Out of Step". The conversation will be hosted by Martyna Wawryło.
"Out of Step" tells the story of Penelope Daniels, who gets into Juilliard - the school of her dreams and a place she fears. Poppy has danced solo her entire life; ballet gave her a sense of control and safety. New York was supposed to be an escape from a painful past, but on the very first day she has an unpleasant encounter with Justin Harrington. When an injury to his dance partner threatens their participation in the semester's most important performance, Justin desperately seeks a replacement and chooses Poppy - unaware of how difficult it will be to get close to her. Their shared rehearsals force Penelope to confront her own trauma, and secrets from the past present her with a choice: keep running or fight for herself.
The book contains content unsuitable for readers under 16.
At the meeting you'll have the opportunity to get a signed dedication and autograph, as well as a photo with the author. Seating is unreserved - it's worth arriving 15 minutes early. More information about the book at empik.com. The meeting takes place at Empik Book Club at Marszałkowska 99 in Warsaw.
