Julia Kubicka at the Book Club | "Weddings and Funerals" — Klub Empik, Warsaw
Description was written before the event

Empik and Niezwykłe Publishing invite you to a premiere meeting with Julia Kubicka, author of "Weddings and Funerals". The interview will be conducted by Aleksandra Pakieła.

"Jamie Hawley once said that my entire life is a wave of absurdity that gradually swallows everything that is decent".
Jamie Hawley met Sam Redford at his aunt's funeral when they were still children. Shortly after, the boys settled next door to each other and, along with Hazel, Sam's twin sister, became inseparable.
Years passed, all three grew up, discovering who they were and who their hearts beat for. Unfortunately, not all feelings are easy to name, and even harder to admit.
Sam wanted only one thing - to be like everyone else. Eventually he became a husband and father, and now Jamie wants to follow in his footsteps. There would be nothing strange about it, except that his chosen one is... Hazel.
Redford, hungry for confrontation, returns to his hometown of Morneby. He feels he must prevent the ceremony at all costs.
Because between weddings and funerals, a person has a whole lifetime to make bad decisions... The problem begins when one of them won't be forgotten.

The book contains content unsuitable for persons under eighteen years of age.

Please arrive 15 minutes early - seats are not numbered. More information about the book at empik.com. The meeting takes place at the Empik Book Club at Marszałkowska 99 in Warsaw. There will be an opportunity to get a dedication, autograph, and a photo with the author.
