ETHNO PORT 2026 | Festival Club: Dance Evening with Kapela Odloty (Poznań Dance House)

Ethno Port 2026 Festival | ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań, Castle Courtyard | 11.06.2026, 22:30

As part of the Festival Club, in collaboration with the Poznań Dance House, Kapela Odloty will perform. The ensemble brings to life traditional music from Eastern Greater Poland – melodies from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries played for dancing and singing: kujawiaki, obery, and wiwaty.

The repertoire is based on arrangements from "Musical Folklore from the Konin Region" edited by Dr. Krzysztof Pydyński, as well as original arrangements of archival recordings from the 20th century performed by: Walenty Matczak from the village of Golina, Jan Boruch from the Regional Ensemble "Pałuki" from Kcynia, the Szelążków Ensemble from Nieszawa, Czesław Marciniak from the Folk Ensemble "Babiak", and Agnieszka Piasecka-Zarębska from the Folk Ensemble "Babiak".
