MC KWADRAT & JAZZ PEOPLE

On Saturday, June 20 at 5:00 PM, the concert hall of Ostrołęka Cultural Centre will host a jazz concert combined with the opening of a musical poster exhibition. The project "MC Kwadrat & Jazz People" merges jazz music with jazz graphics.

Drummer Sebastian Bauman created a series of posters portraying jazz musicians through the lens of their creativity, stage presence, and instruments. Each poster contains a conceptual key that highlights the distinctive features of the portrayed artist's image and work. During the concert, the quartet will draw on the music of the jazz legends portrayed by Sebastian: Komeda, Karolak, Davis, Corea, Pastorius, and Buddy Rich.

MC Kwadrat is a group founded by Mateusz Cwaliński, whose members follow the principle of "fewer sounds, more music." Their repertoire includes tonal jazz, gospel, swing, fusion, and Latin music.

The quartet will perform in the following lineup:
Mateusz Cwaliński – piano / Hammond organ / vocals
Stefan Kulawczuk – saxophones
Jacek Pikora – double bass
Sebastian Bauman – drums

After the concert, you are invited to the exhibition opening in the main hall of the Cultural Centre.
