Artificial Non-Intelligence? - Artist Talk with Przemysław Jasielski

Wed, 10 Jun 2026 · 18:00

Zamek Cesarski w Poznaniu, Poznań

A meeting with Przemysław Jasielski at his works "Judge Controller" and "Hypnotic AI" (co-created with Ania Malinowska), dedicated to discussing art in the age of artificial intelligence. The new reality poses a question for creators: should the use of AI in artworks be disclosed? Conversely, some argue for a principle where AI itself would be obligated to reveal its presence in every human interaction. How does this context shape an artist's practice?

Przemysław Jasielski is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, specializing in sculpture. He works at the intersection of engineering, artistic, and scientific practice within the art&science paradigm — treating art as experimental scientific activity and science as a theory of contemporary art. His work can also be understood as artistic prototyping of artificial life and forms of artificial intelligence from the perspective of biomimetics and posthumanism.
