31st Theatre Confrontations: Pola Nireńska. Open Rehearsal.

A performance inspired by the life and work of Pola Nireńska - one of the most outstanding Polish dancers and choreographers of the 20th century. Her biography intertwines with the experience of the Holocaust, displacement, and life between cultures. The creators examine memory inscribed in the body and the power of art to preserve traces of the past.

On stage, an actress and dancer meet, creating a narrative about passion and the necessity of dance, loss, exclusion, and the struggle to forge one's own path. Movement becomes a language of memory when words prove insufficient. The performance asks whether art can protect human history from oblivion.
