Rafał Majka and Tomasz Kalemba at the Book Club | Book Launch "Rafał Majka"

Empik and Znak Publishing organize a premiere meeting with Rafał Majka and Tomasz Kalemba - authors of the book "Rafał Majka. Always Ahead. In Conversation with Tomasz Kalemba". The interview will be conducted by Adam Probosz.

The book tells the story of a young man from Zegartowice who left for Italy at eighteen with fifty euros in his wallet and no knowledge of the language. In his conversation with Kalemba, Majka discusses the behind-the-scenes world of professional cycling, training, and his work with Peter Sagan, Alberto Contador, and Tadej Pogačar - as well as where the Tour de France trophy disappeared, why Contador defended him against his own team, how his wife motivated him to fight for a medal in Rio, and why he ended his career.
