Low-Budget Crime Comedy

In the beginning there was a crime… But who did what and how — that will unfold in the Scena Komedii production.

Two completely different detectives — representing different generations, different ways of speaking and approaches to life — meet at a crime scene. To solve the murder mystery, they must interrogate eccentric witnesses, follow trails of ridiculous evidence, distinguish real clues from false ones, and sometimes participate in a dance contest.

The show is a dark-humoured crime comedy that references cult action films and famous dialogues, revealing the gap (or perhaps a bridge?) between generations. The script was developed based on workshops in theatrical speech and storytelling techniques with young people and millennials.

A new production by the Oł Maj Gad group under the Scena Komedii and Teatr Centralny banner, created at the Culture Centre in Lublin.
