"The Ugly Duckling" is a puppet theatre production by Zdrojowy Teatr Animacji (Source Animation Theatre) based on H.C. Andersen's tale, translated by Cecylia Niewiadomska. Adaptation and direction: Michał Tramer, set design: Anna Adasiak, music: Tomasz Giczewski.

The duck yard is a fenced-in place where "abundance and order always prevail" — until a duckling appears that is different from all the others. This classic coming-of-age story about discovering one's own worth takes on new dimensions here: the creators pose questions about exclusion, fear of the unfamiliar, and what happens to those who hated the main character.
The production is intended for children aged 6 and up with adult guardians.
