One day, garbage balls begin appearing in an anthill, disrupting the lives and work of the ants. Marcysia, whose view of the world is increasingly obscured by these balls, decides to find a way to save the anthill. During her expedition, her father – Mirosław – is kidnapped by a mysterious Beetle. Marcysia and unexpected allies set out to help.
Anthill is the world premiere of Polish playwright Filip Milczarski's work – a colourful, musical tale with an ecological theme, aimed at audiences aged 4–8. The performance raises questions about agency in relation to the surrounding reality and can serve as a starting point for intergenerational conversations about ecology, climate crisis, responsibility, and civic courage.
