Cukierek, You Rascal!

Cukierek is a cat who knows no boredom - a character from Waldemar Cichoń's books that has captivated young readers' imaginations for years. The play tells the story of an encounter between a human and an animal, and how a four-legged household resident can turn a family's everyday life upside down. Yet behind the cat's antics lie deeper questions: what does responsibility toward another being mean, how do we understand its needs, and does friendship also require patience and acceptance?

The stage adaptation was created by Dariusz Wiktorowicz, who also directs the production. Barbara Wójcik-Wiktorowicz designed the scenography and costumes, while Michał Makulski composed the music.
