NIŻYŃSKA piano forte - Teatr Polska

"NIŻYŃSKA piano forte" by Sztuki Nowej is an intimate choreographic work inspired by the biography and artistic legacy of Bronisławy Niżyńska, one of the twentieth century's most influential figures in dance avant-garde.

The piece draws from pivotal moments in her life: personal crisis and the drive for artistic self-expression that led her to develop her own choreographic language. Rather than a conventional narrative, the creators translate Niżyńska's biography into a structure of movement, rhythm, and tension that builds the spectacle's dramatic arc.
