Bezbłędne Ogniki

What do you do when a bus breaks down in the middle of a forest and the journey to an important match becomes a voyage into your own inner world? "Bezbłędne Ogniki" - the latest production by the youth theatre group AnimAkcje at the Zdrojowy Theatre of Animation in Jelenia Góra - offers an answer.

Four teenage members of a sports team get lost in a mysterious forest where they encounter heroines from Slavic legends. Through a world of fairy tales, dreams, and fears, the girls search for answers to questions about growing up, friendship, their place in the world, and the right to make mistakes.

The script was written by playwright Katarzyna Matwiejczuk based on stories and ideas from AnimAkcje group members. Direction, set design, and costumes by Aga Ejsmont. Song arrangements by Anna Bartoszewicz, Szymon Mackiewicz, and Aga Ejsmont. The production features wicker elements from the "Topielica" project, kindly provided by Dorota Korczycka-Bąbliński.
