About the venue: Instytut Grotowskiego, Sala Teatru Laboratorium

The Grotowski Institute in Wrocław preserves the legacy of Jerzy Grotowski, one of the most influential theatre directors of the 20th century. The Sala Teatru Laboratorium - the original performance space of his legendary Teatr Laboratorium - is a small, intimate hall where groundbreaking productions like "Apocalypsis cum Figuris" were staged. Today it hosts theatre performances, research events and international workshops rooted in Grotowski's practice.
