Michał Barański – double bassist, bass guitarist and composer – is one of the leading artists on the contemporary Polish jazz scene. His body of work includes dozens of albums recorded alongside leaders representing various areas of the music scene, and alongside his recording activity he is also active in clubs, on stage and in education.

"No Return, No Karma" is Barański's second solo project, recorded with musicians from the Polish jazz scene. The album combines jazz with Indian rhythmic mathematics, European sensibility and references to Polish folk music. It was released in the prestigious Polish Jazz series.
