Centre of Metallurgy Tradition in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski
The Centre of Metallurgy Traditions in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski showcases the metallurgical heritage of the city and region. The exhibition spans two floors of the former Factory Cultural Centre of the Marceli Nowotka Works and combines traditional elements – scale models, replicas, and historical artifacts – with interactive features: multimedia tables, touch panels, projectors, educational games, and media players.
The permanent exhibition traces two thousand years of history, illustrating industrial activity in the Kamienna River Valley – successive stages in the development of Holy Cross metallurgy, charcoal production, and railways. The Centre also presents four centuries of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski's history: the city's past, notable figures, and the evolution of culture, sports, and economy.
