GDYby Gdynia brzmiała

A concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of Gdynia, featuring the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot under the baton of Szymon Morus performing a programme of music illustrating the city's history and character.

The programme includes: Orawa for string orchestra by Wojciech Kilar, Arboretum for string orchestra by Mikołaj Zakrzewski, Waltz from the film Trędowata and Waltz from the film Promised Land by Wojciech Kilar, as well as Suite from Action Films and Suite from Adventure Films.

Tickets priced at 26 PLN are available online at Bilety24.pl, at Tourist Information Centre ticket offices in Sopot, and on the day of the event at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia.

The event is hosted by the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk. Organisers: City of Sopot, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot, Pomeranian Voivodeship Authority, Baltic Artistic Agency BART. Co-organiser: Musical Theatre named after Danuta Baduszkowa in Gdynia. The event is under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the City of Gdynia.
