Is marriage all pleasure and gravity? Is married life a string of lofty emotions? And then there's the third party — the mother-in-law.
The situation is "straight out of real life", but this is a comedy after all. It is full of amusing associations, verbal sparring, and paradoxical situations. Yet the comedy is only the surface layer — the story draws on the theatre of the absurd and great literature, and leaves room for reflection on the future of the family.
This is another production from Teatr 13 reaching for contemporary comedy, one in which the search for the company's own theatrical language is clearly visible. There is plenty of fun, joy, and laughter — but not everything is easy and pleasant. Just like in life.
