The Arsenal building (1st floor, no elevator) hosts two temporary exhibitions.
LET IT SPIN… SPINNING TOP COLLECTION FROM THE MOBILE MUSEUM OF SPINNING TOPS
An exhibition dedicated to the spinning top – a toy also known as a cyga or fryga – presents 295 specimens from the private collection of Jerzy Łapo, founder of the Mobile Museum of Spinning Tops. Among them are spinning tops combining traditional mechanics with characters from literature, iconic Walt Disney films, comics, and games.

PYSANKY FROM AROUND THE WORLD – COLLECTION OF ALEKSANDRA AND ARKADIUSZ BELICE
Aleksandra and Arkadiusz Belice – a violinist and photographer – have been engaged in pysanka decoration for many years, hand-painting eggs using batik, engraving, appliqué, and etching techniques. Their collection comprises over 1,300 pysanky and has been exhibited multiple times in Poland and Germany.
The collection includes pysanky from various regions of Poland as well as from Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Germany, Albania, India, Japan, and Bali. The represented techniques include cloisonné enamel, wire wrapping, iron binding, vinegar-solution etching, and decoration with grains, beads, and eggshell fragments. In addition to pysanky made from hollowed bird eggs, the collection contains wooden, porcelain, glass, and stone specimens.
