Sounds Well Sorted / Sebastian Świąder / Warsaw / FESTIVAL OF THE YOUNGEST 2026
Imperial Castle in Poznań, Poland
Family music workshops with upcycling, where participants together create instruments from recycled materials and discover how everyday objects sound. Cans, cardboard boxes, bottles and other seemingly unnecessary items transform into musical objects and elements of a shared orchestra.
The meeting combines fun with rhythm, sound and imagination with a conversation about recycling and giving objects a second life. At the end, participants perform an upcycling concert together on handmade instruments.
The workshops are led by Sebastian Świąder – theatre pedagogue, cultural animator, musician and performer. A graduate of cultural studies and the Cultural Animation specialization at the University of Warsaw, member of the Association of Theatre Pedagogues, co-creator of educational and theatrical projects realized with the Theatre Institute, TR Warsaw and Baj Theatre. Since 2020 he has worked at the Ochota Theatre in Warsaw, creating music for children's performances and leading theatre and music workshops for families. Winner of the Warsaw Prize for Cultural Education 2023.
Recommended age: from 3 years old.
