Sail with a Book! Raft Descent

A raft descent on the Warta River from Binduga in Mściszew to Kowale Landing in Oborniki, combining river adventure with nature, reading, and historical themes. During the journey, the Spirit of the River will accompany you and tell stories about Radzimiu. Participants observe the river and nature, and at the finish line there is a contest with prizes and bookcrossing – book exchange with other participants.

Date: July 5, 2026, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM.

Tickets: 20 PLN with mMieszkańca card, 50 PLN without card. Limited places available.

Included in the raft descent: bus transport from Oborniki to Binduga, brief water safety training, place on the raft (two large kayaks connected by a platform where children can ride), commander supervision, refreshments at the finish (sausages, bread, cake, water and hot drinks), insurance, and historical and nature education.

Schedule:
– 1:00 PM – gathering at Kowale Landing in Oborniki, collection of life jackets
– 1:30 PM – bus ride to Binduga in Mściszew, training, launching rafts
– approx. 3:00 PM – start of descent from Binduga Landing
– 6:00 PM–9:00 PM – Kowale Landing: bonfire, contest, bookcrossing

Bring with you: clothing appropriate for weather conditions, head covering, sunscreen with UV filter, water for the descent, garbage bag, books for exchange, and a phone or camera.

Raft descent is available for children from age 7; minors only under adult supervision.
