A concert commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Poznań June '56, dedicated to the events that became a symbol of the struggle for freedom and dignity.

The programme will feature works by Jacek Kaczmarski, Przemysław Gintrowski and Zbigniew Łapiński, among others. Performing: Sebastian Nawrot (vocals, piano) and Łukasz Groszewski (vocals, guitar).

About: Jacek Kaczmarski

Jacek Kaczmarski (1957–2004) was a Polish poet, singer-songwriter and bard, widely known as "the voice of Solidarity". His songs, including "Mury", became anthems of the Polish opposition during the communist era. He worked in the tradition of sung poetry, blending lyricism with strong political commitment.
