LATO ART - TECHNOLOGY OF TOMORROW Five-day creative workshop for children aged 6–12 | BWA
Contemporary Art Gallery BWA in Nowy Sącz, Poland
The five-day "Technology of Tomorrow" workshop is designed for children aged 6–12. Each day focuses on a different area of modern technology – knowledge is combined with practical activities, experimentation, and creative play.
Day 1 – Virtual Worlds and VR Travel
Participants will discover the possibilities of virtual reality technology. Using VR headsets, they will visit outer space, the depths of the oceans, extraordinary corners of the world, and the interior of the human body.
Day 2 – 3D Design and Printing
Children will learn the basics of spatial design and how 3D printers work – from idea to finished object. Each child will prepare their own project to be printed: a figurine, keychain, pendant, or other object to take home.
Day 3 – 3D Pens and Spatial Constructions
Using 3D pens, participants create three-dimensional drawings and structures: figurines, decorations, buildings, and other objects inspired by their own imagination.
Day 4 – Artificial Intelligence and Digital Stories
Children will learn what AI is and where we encounter it in everyday life. Together they will create their own stories, characters, and illustrations using artificial intelligence-based tools.
Day 5 – Robotics and Games of the Future
The final day is dedicated to robots, programming, and interactive games. Participants will learn the basic principles of how robots work, complete team tasks, and design their own solutions.
Each participant takes home the projects created during the workshops.
