LATO ART - SUMMER WITH CLAY Five-day creative workshop for children aged 6–12 | BWA
Contemporary Art Gallery BWA in Nowy Sącz, Poland
A five-day creative workshop for children aged 6–12, where participants experiment with form, texture, and colour while learning various hand-modelling clay techniques. Each day focuses on a different theme, and at the end each child takes home a complete set of their own handmade creations.
Day 1 – Clay Jewellery and Decorative Accessories
Participants will learn the basic properties of clay and modelling techniques. They will create pendants, beads, brooches, magnets, and decorative elements with imprints and patterned designs.
Day 2 – Spatial Image from Clay Elements
Ceramics meets painting: clay elements will be placed on a watercolour background, creating spatial compositions full of colour and texture.
Day 3 – Plant Pot or Container for Accessories
Children will design functional objects – plant pots or containers for pencils and brushes – decorated with elements attached to magnets.
Day 4 – My Favourite Pet
A day dedicated to sculpture: participants will create three-dimensional figures of their favourite animals – domestic, wild, exotic, or fantastical.
Day 5 – Jewellery Tray with a Favourite Motif
On the final day, decorative trays and dishes for jewellery will be created, decorated with an individually chosen plant, animal, geometric, or other motif.
