The concert programme features covers of beloved songs by both artists, composed by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bill Withers, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, and Burt Bacharach.

Mieczysław Szcześniak and Krzysztof Herdzin have created a unique project together from the "Great American Songbook" series. The first sings beautifully as always, the second is the author of stylish and unpretentious arrangements. The musicians set the bar very high, choosing works from the repertoire of the greatest.

Mieczysław Szcześniak has recorded eight solo albums, won the Amber Nightingale award at the Sopot Festival, and received three Fryderyk Awards. Fans have loved his talent, his distinctive vocal tone, and the rare sensitivity he brings as a Polish soloist. Through his work, he represents what is most refined and sophisticated in music.

We created this project not to do something better, but to filter these legendary songs through our own sensibility. With this particular choice, we wanted to approach the past universally. "Songs From Yesterday" is a look at what has been and remains important and inspiring to us. We turned to pieces that are milestones in music, but equally important are the stories they tell – Krzysztof Herdzin
