Kinga Głyk returns to Jassmine!
The bassist draws inspiration from sounds and people from around the world, and her numerous travels (including to Brazil, Japan, Italy, and Scandinavia) have a major influence on her music. She combines these experiences with jazz improvisation, creating energetic, sincere, and emotionally rich soundscapes.
The artist released her fifth album "Real Life", co-produced by Michael League (Snarky Puppy), featuring outstanding musicians under the Warner Music Group label. She has won numerous awards and accolades, including "Koryfeusz Muzyki Polskiej" (Luminary of Polish Music), GRAND PRIX "Nowa Nadzieja Polskiego Jazzu" (New Hope of Polish Jazz), and a nomination from Deutscher JAZZ PRESS alongside world-class artists.
Her popularity has grown thanks to the track "Joy Joy" (over 1 million views) and a viral performance of "Tears in Heaven" (20 million views). She has performed worldwide and collaborated with many renowned musicians, including Marcus Miller.
She began her career very early — at age 12 in a family trio, and at 18 released her well-received debut album "Rejestracja", which launched her dynamic development on the jazz scene.
