Sylwester Ostrowski – Freddie Hendrix & Jazz Brigade

Jazz Brigade, well known to Jassmine regulars from their memorable and enthusiastically received concert in November 2025, returns to the capital in an exceptional format. This time the meeting will have a special dimension – the band's leaders, Sylwester Ostrowski and Freddie Hendrix, embark on a European tour under the banner "Fifty – Fifty Tour".

The reason? Symbolic and beautiful at once – both artists are turning 50 this summer. They have decided to celebrate this moment in the best way they know how: on stage, playing uncompromising, energetic jazz in a select international lineup. The Warsaw concert at Jassmine will be one of the stops on a tour that includes performances at Sicilia Jazz Festival and Canarias Jazz & Más, as well as other significant venues on Europe's jazz map.

The audience will hear the "hard" programme of Jazz Brigade – featuring tracks like "We Are The Jazz Brigade" and "Stretchin' in Szczecin" – as well as brand new compositions specially prepared for the jubilee tour by both leaders.

This is music rooted in the tradition of New York hard bop, yet pulsing with contemporary sound and stage chemistry that Jazz Brigade has been known for since their first concerts. The November performance at Jassmine confirmed that Warsaw audiences understand this language perfectly – the June concert promises to be even more intense.
