XANDRIA | Warsaw
Klub Hydrozagadka, Warsaw, Poland
Leading German symphonic metal band Xandria returns to Poland in autumn and will perform on October 13 at Warsaw's Hydrozagadka club, followed by a show the next day in Kraków's Zaścianek. Both concerts will be supported by Seven Spires and Secret Rule.
Xandria has been active for thirty years and began a new chapter three years ago. This new era is marked by vocalist Ambre Vourvahis and the success of their first album with her, "The Wonders Still Awaiting", their eighth record and seemingly their best to date. The numbers speak for themselves - with this album, the German band broke into the top ten best-selling albums in their home country for the first time, and performed even better on the British rock charts. In 2024, they struck again with the EP "Universal Tales", further cementing their position in the symphonic metal world.
Seven Spires is undoubtedly one of the most active bands in recent years on the American symphonic metal scene, distinguished also by their sound - featuring elements of melodic death metal, power metal, and even black metal. Their discography is capped by the album "A Fortress Called Home", released two years ago by Frontiers Music.
The concert will be opened by Italian band Secret Rule, who gained wider recognition in 2017 with the album "The Key to the World". Like the rest of the line-up, the band's creative foundation is symphonic metal, but the Rome-based quartet increasingly incorporates modern influences, clearly heard on their recent release "X". They have performed alongside Scorpions, Amaranthe, and Visions of Atlantis, so you can expect a solid start to the evening!
