GRIDIRON + Heavy Runner | Poznań

A hybrid of hardcore, metal and rap delivered in destructive form - Gridiron blend these genres in perfect proportions, as proven by their album "Poetry From Pain". In addition to their show alongside Malevolence, the Americans will also perform in Poznań, where they will be joined by the Heavy Runner crew!

If metal, hardcore and rap were to meet on a field, Gridiron take the pitch as a team playing toward only one goal - the one they're demolishing right now. Their hybrid style combines hardcore heaviness, hip-hop aggression, old-school groove and rap-rock energy worthy of both Ozzfest '97 and the latest editions of Rolling Loud. In May they released their newest album "Poetry From Pain", praised for its brutal energy, powerful message and uncompromising style.

The evening will be opened by a representative of the domestic scene - Heavy Runner. Over several years of activity they have performed with acts such as Code Orange, Angel Dust, Jesus Piece, Agnostic Front, No Pressure and the Polish band Tonfą. They know how to get the crowd fired up so that within moments people are flying under the ceiling. In May their new EP "Perfect World" (Ratel Records) was released, on which the band turns up the tempo even more and shows that Polish hardcore is thriving.
