Arjuna Oakes

Arjuna Oakes is a vocalist, pianist, composer and producer born in New Zealand, currently based on the London music scene. His work blends soul, jazz, electronics and funk, distinguished by musicality and expressive melody. Since his debut EP The Watcher (2019), he has consistently built an international profile, appearing on Worldwide FM, Jazz FM and BBC Radio.

He has performed alongside artists such as Jordan Rakei, Moonchild, Allen Stone and Bilal (EFG London Jazz Festival), and has also played at Royal Albert Hall and sold out shows at Ronnie Scott's. His tracks reach leading playlists and radio stations (including KEXP), and The Love That I Feel was featured in Bandcamp Essential Releases 2024.

In parallel, he is involved in projects such as Spotify Fresh Finds, hosts jam sessions in north London and has a residency at Soho Radio. Whether improvising or producing in the studio, his music is characterised by coherence, intention and emotional honesty.
