A concert dedicated to the memory of Ewa Demarczyk
After one of her concerts, Natalia Sikora was called "the Demarczyk of our times". She now returns with the second instalment of her interpretations of Ewa Demarczyk's songs – the project "Taki Pejzaż" (Such a Landscape).
This is an intimate, spacious and emotionally charged performance, distinct from her earlier project "Czarne Anioły..." (Black Angels). This time, special attention is given to sound and subtlety – blues, country and folk interweave with elements of jazz and psychedelia, resulting in refined, deeply moving arrangements.
Double bass, violin and piano build tension between silence and expression. It is a black-and-white story not about a legend, but about a person – fragile and strong at once – for whom poetry becomes prayer and solace.
"Our world is constantly falling apart and trying to piece itself back together. That is the essence of this interpretation." – Natalia Sikora
