As part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU "Warsaw Live Sessions" project, original concerts by leading figures of the Polish jazz scene and international guests take place.
Light Star Guiding features: Ray Dickaty on saxophone, Mikołaj Poncyljusz on guitars, Michał Załęski on keyboards, bass guitar and Moog, and Dominik Mokrzewski on drums. All their material is co-created by all band members. They strive to achieve a sound that transcends boundaries between individual musical genres in an "unconventional" way through sensitivity and honesty toward things that truly matter to them. Given their diverse musical roots, their sound is described as Electro - Trance - Folk - Free Jazz with a palpable 1970s atmosphere.
Mikołaj Poncyljusz is a guitarist, composer, sound engineer and music producer – leader of the Warsaw band "HoTS" and Light Star Guiding. He is a graduate of the F. Chopin State Music School (2nd degree) in Warsaw, Jazz Department, and the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Jazz and Popular Music Department.
