20:00 Wieczornik – concert
Wieczornik is a Poznań-based ensemble known for its poetic, semi-acoustic music that creates atmospheric, introspective compositions from the sounds of piano, guitars, cello, and voice, combined with painterly lyrics that offer moments of respite in a chaotic and noisy world.
The project emerged from the fusion of spatial piano compositions by Szymon Siwierski with poetic texts written by Paulina Frąckowiak. The creative duo invited actress Aleksandra Samelczak to sing the resulting repertoire, having met her while working on a concert at the Poznań Polish Theatre. The ensemble soon expanded to include guitarist Łukasz Świętek and cellist Agnieszka Kowalczyk, quickly developing into a unique collective balancing on the border between music, poetry, and mindfulness.
Their sound does not rely on percussive rhythm but on the organic pulse of acoustic instruments and subtle tones of small instruments and objects such as shells and stones.
Ensemble lineup:
● Ola Samelczak – vocals (actress at the Polish Theatre in Poznań)
● Szymon Siwierski – piano, compositions
● Paulina Frąckowiak – bass guitar, percussion objects, lyricist
● Łukasz Świętek – guitar
● Agnieszka "KOVA" Kowalczyk – cello
Creative work and releases
Wieczornik is promoting its debut album "Parallel Worlds" (premiere February 17, 2026). The album is announced by singles corresponding to four elements: Waterbirth, Last Day of Summer, Forest, which has a beautiful music video, and Fiery. These compositions unite exceptional lyrics with a rich sonic layer, drawing inspiration from nature and elemental themes. The album premiere is accompanied by the premiere of an innovative performance "Parallel Worlds. Performative Concerts by Wieczornik" at the Polish Theatre in Poznań, combining the ensemble's music with theatrical means and the concept of shinrin yoku – forest bathing.
