The undisputed hero of the concert is the flute, one of the oldest and most mysterious instruments. Its sound is fascinating, and the richness of its expressive possibilities can surprise, as does the variety of forms of this instrument, which counts thousands of years of history. Diversity and richness are also present in the programme of the performance, which takes us from a Baroque master through Romanticism to the twentieth century and contemporary times.
Programme: Johann Sebastian Bach – Flute Sonata in E major BWV 1035, Carl Reinecke – Sonata for Flute and Piano "Undine" op. 167, Ian Clarke – "Hypnosis" for Flute and Piano, Frank Martin – Ballad for Flute and Piano, Philippe Gaubert – "Pièce Romantique" for Flute, Cello and Piano
Performers: Marianna Julia Żołnacz – flute, Antoni Wrona – cello, Krzysztof Stanienda – piano
