Osiecka, Grechuta - Unforgettable Songs
Akademia Muzyczna w Gdańsku, Poland
Osiecka & Grechuta in new arrangements! Tomasz Steńczyk and his ensemble will take you on an emotional musical journey full of moving moments and unforgettable melodies. Don't miss this exceptional concert!
We invite you to a concert dedicated to the work of Agnieszka Osiecka and Marek Grechuta. The programme features the most outstanding and well-known songs written by Agnieszka Osiecka, including "Song About Spectacle Wearers", "Long Live the Ball", "Lullaby for a Crumb", "When I Am No More", "What Every Boy Should Know", as well as brilliant works performed by Marek Grechuta: "Tangled in Wild Wine", "Uncertainty", "The Story of One Journey", "Procession", "World in the Clouds", "Days We Don't Know" and many others.
Tomasz Steńczyk is a vocalist, guitarist and composer. A winner of major awards at the most important festivals of artistic song, he creates together with outstanding musicians a new, graceful and enchanting musical feast. He is an artist unafraid to sing challenging texts. We will rediscover familiar works which, thanks to Steńczyk's arrangements and his ensemble's interpretation, take on new dimensions—sometimes theatrical, sometimes genuinely poetic. Steńczyk knows how to awaken emotions, proving it with his ensemble at every performance.
They have performed on many significant stages including the Roma Theatre in Warsaw, the Krasicki Theatre in Kraków, the Cellar Under the Rams, CK ICE Kraków, and the Polish Radio Studio named after A. Osiecka. The artists have been repeatedly awarded at the "Remember Osiecka" Festivals in Warsaw, the "Procession" Festival of Creativity in Kraków, the Castle Meetings "Let's Sing Poetry" in Olsztyn, and the "Grechuta Festival" in Kraków.
This will be an unforgettable evening full of memories, smiles and emotion. You cannot miss this concert!
