The Middle Ages was an era that lasted over a thousand years - a time when soaring Gothic cathedrals were built, and eyeglasses, clocks, and countless other things we take for granted today were invented.

During the concert, the musical paths of that era will guide listeners through encounters with knights, courtiers, merchants, pilgrims, and wandering singers. Their lives, work, prayers, and entertainments will be brought to life through compositions centuries old - pieces that often tell the story of medieval people more vividly than many a historical treatise.
