Literary Club | Reading Fantasy feat. Karolina Barbrich

The June meeting of Empik's Literary Club is dedicated to fantasy in all its forms - from classic fantasy and young adult, through science fiction, to books balancing between realism and imagination. The guest of the evening will be Karolina Barbrich - a writer and internet creator known as Tostyikawa, author of "The Oblivion Trilogy". The hosts, as every month, are Jagoda Gawliczek (journalist and head of the creative team at Going.) and Maciej Marcisz (writer and director of promotion at Foksal Publishing Group).

The meeting programme includes: an introduction to the main theme, a live reading by Karolina Barbrich, 75 minutes of shared silent reading, and a discussion about the books read. Coffee and snacks are available on site.

Seats are not numbered - it's worth arriving 15 minutes early. Bring any fantasy book with you or buy one on site.

Empik's Literary Club meets once a month at Club Empik on Marszałkowska 99 in Warsaw. In addition to book discussions, the programme also features quizzes, competitions and surprises.
