The Zielona Góra Academy of Music is a series of meetings for preschools and students in grades 1-3, combining a concert with a mini-lecture. Each programme has its own theme and guides children through the world of music via games and riddles - all presented in an age-appropriate way.

During the 45-minute sessions, the youngest listeners learn about musical instruments, styles, musical periods and composers. Live performances by artists from the Zielona Góra Philharmonic are a regular feature. For many children, it is also their first encounter with the philharmonic as a cultural venue.

This year's cycle is titled "Instruments Have a Voice. A Musical Journey into the World of the Orchestra." The upcoming concerts focus on individual instrument families: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion, with the season concluding in a meeting featuring the full orchestra sound.
