The Zielona Góra Music Academy is a series of meetings for kindergartens and pupils in grades 1-3, combining a concert with a mini-lecture. Each session has its own theme - children discover instruments, musical styles, periods, and composers through games and riddles, all within 45 minutes and tailored to their age. Live performances by Zielona Góra Philharmonic artists are a regular feature.
This year's cycle is titled "Instruments Have a Voice. A Musical Journey into the World of the Orchestra." Successive concerts explore different instrument families: strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion - culminating in a finale with the full orchestra sound.
The meetings take place at the Zielona Góra Philharmonic, which for many children is their first encounter with this venue and its repertoire.
