The Zielona Góra Music Academy is a series of meetings for kindergartens and pupils in grades 1-3, combining a concert with a mini-lecture. Each session has its own theme - children discover instruments, musical styles, periods and composers through games and riddles, and everything lasts 45 minutes and is tailored to their age. Live performances by artists from the Zielona Góra Philharmonic are a regular feature.
This year's cycle is titled "Instruments Have a Voice. A Musical Journey into the World of the Orchestra." Upcoming concerts focus on different instrument families: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion, with the season concluding in a meeting featuring the full orchestra sound.
The next session - "What Squeaks in the Reed?" - takes place on January 18 at 10:30 at the Zielona Góra Philharmonic.
