WOLNA GRUPA BUKOWINA at the Old Monastery!

On 27 September at 19:00 in the Gothic Hall of the Old Monastery (ul. Purkyniego 1), Wolna Grupa Bukowina will perform - a Polish group in the tradition of sung poetry, continuously active for over 50 years.

The ensemble debuted in 1971 at the Tourist Song Exchange in Szklarska Poręba. It was founded by Wojciech Bellon, then a high school graduate from Busko-Zdrój. For many years, Wolna Grupa Bukowina functioned as an open ensemble - many renowned Polish performers and musicians appeared with them. Their achievements include awards from the Polish Song Festival in Opole, the Student Song Festival in Kraków, participation in the FAMA festivals, and two concerts before an audience of 150,000 at Przystanek Woodstock. The ensemble has also performed extensively abroad - in Europe and for Polish communities in Canada, the USA, and Ireland.
