JOSCHO STEPHAN - world-class gypsy swing guitar star plays in Wrocław!

Ethno Jazz Festival presents on 23 October a concert by JOSCHO STEPHAN TRIO at the Old Monastery - Stained Glass Hall (ul. Purkyniego 1) in Wrocław. Start time 19:00. Special guest will be KRZYSZTOF PEŁECH, classical guitarist.

The trio consists of Joscho Stephan (guitar), Sven Jungbeck (guitar) and Volker Kamp (double bass). The repertoire features reinterpretations of the gypsy jazz canon in the spirit of Django Reinhardt, as well as original compositions blending influences from Latin, classical, pop and rock music.

Joscho Stephan has collaborated with Bireli Lagrène, Stochelo Rosenberg, Tommy Emmanuel and Daniel Hope, as well as with Richard Smith and Rory Hoffman in the Transatlantic Guitar Trio project. He was the only European guitarist invited to the "George Benson Camp" - alongside Al Di Meola, Steve Lukather and Tommy Emmanuel.
